The Private Education Institutions (PEI) has further elevated their quality standards by the EduTrust Certification implemented by the Singapore government through the Private Education Act pass in parliament to raise the quality of education provided by PEI to maintain the standard as an Education Hub of South East Asia. Students from all over the world are making in route into Singapore for education in Government Colleges and Universities as well as Private Education Institutions (PEI).
Currently boarding facilities for international students are provided only in Government Polytechnics and Universities. Most PEI in Singapore does not offer boarding facilities in their colleges. Students have to find their own private stay.
